Default Studded My PR Razrs

Well I decided that I was gonna stop riding on my predd til sno falls now, if i keep riding i wont be able to stud my tires. So last night i pulled off the rear tires and put 110 studs in each tire. Not gonna run much more than about 2 lbs of air in them and they seem to be holding air fine, i dont think the studs went right through the tire which i was worrying about. I cant wait for some snow so i can ride around in town and try em out.

i thought that stuff was just for temporary use? Or will it just seal the whole inside of the tire till i change em?

so if one of the screws went through the slime will go to where the air is coming and block it

Yes its called tire slime. If you get a hole in your tire you put some tire slime in there and it seals the hole up. I never liked tire slime because it can throw the tire off balance and when you take your tires off the rim you will have sticky residue from the slime on your rim which is a pain to get off.

well i'll try em without it first and see how they hold up, i dont think 2-3lbs of air will leak much or atleast very fast. if not i'll by the stuff.

Check out my pics from when I studded mine 1/2" sheet metal screws.

Have some new pics to post also of me burning them tires off this summer. There bald now and still don't leak.
