lug nuts?
#1
I was at my dealer today, and they have a 2005 TB250 in orange wearing a pair of Douglas black label rims that have a lug nut on the rear with a flange on them, wheel side. I also have a TB 250 with Douglas blacks, but I just have standard tappered lugnuts turned backward, my dealer couldn't find any info on these lugnuts. Should I spend more time trying to find these. or are the ones I have good enough?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I used to have these on my old sport..........the tapered nuts are obviously for the stock wheels, where the taper can be pointed inward to hold in place.........so turning them around(taper out) and putting a thick washer behind the nut(in between the wheel and the nut) is the same thing. These are just specially made so the washer and nut are already fit together.....and I think the nut spins on the washer for some reason too.........
I don't, however, know anything else about these, or where to get them.

Troyer, you want to talk about orange, it's all that! I don't know if it's a color for me, but at least it's not black! I saw a black trx450 at the dunes, and the scuffs on the plastic looked huge. Nobody likes to get the plastic scratched, but it's a fact of life. The black really shows the damage. As for the orange, I liked the red se from last year better. Why did some get Douglas red label rims, and others got the black label?
