Scrambler 500 compared to the V-Force?
#1
Hi everyone,
I was wondering if I could get some of your opionions comparing these two machines. I presently own a KFX700 and although I'm very happy with it there's times I would enjoy something alittle more on the lighter side. I love the automatic transmission on the V-Force and would not want to go back to a manual clutch so comparing auto sport quads, these two seem to be the two top choices. I learned to ride on a Blaster many years ago and although I'd fit on one today about as good as I would on my kids trycycle, I miss being able to throw it around like I remember doing on the Blaster. Thanks in advance for your input. Rich

well, they both have the cvt tranny
the scrambler has a chain in the rear, and shaft in the front
the scram is heavy also
the big difference is the scrammy is 4x4 (unless you get a 2x4)
i would say that you are barking up the wrong tree if you want a lighter quad that you can flick around

The VForce will smoke a 500 Scrambler but now if you go with an older 400 Scrambler and put a few mods to it you would have a monster.I know because I have both. The 400 can beat the 700 VForce when they are piped, clutched and ported.

The v is still your best bet for a sport auto until Polais comes out with the next Generation Scrambler!

Thanks for the comments guys, I'll stick to my V right now and see what the future holds. The way the manufactures are releasing models these days, who knows.
I guess what I'm asking for is a TRX450R with a CVT tranny but I won't hold my breath. Now a redone scrambler, that sounds like more of a possibility, thx again, Rich
