Is a 3-wheeler? Parts will be a hard find I'd bet.

what were the early 80's 3-wheelers called? 87 makes sense its a quad. Thought cyclones were trikes, air cooled 250.

Wicked fast, could give my 85 ATC 250R a good run.

The Polaris trikes were called Scramblers. Long before the scramblers we know of today

They did make a Cyclone version of the 3 wheeler but not after 86.

Hi Ryanman,
I'm replying to your Q. I have a 1987 Polaris Cyclone 250X. I've acquired it about 2 months ago from my nephew. From what I've heard, they only made less then 500 of these quads in that one year. If you would like to see some pics, i could send you some.

We had one in the shop. It has been to hell and back, then back to hell again and must of fell off down the escalator a few times. It was pretty beat up and had a lot of hours on it but still was pretty fast. Felt like riding on top of a brick.

I bought it off my nephew, because he said he blew the engine. I thought about having it rebuilt. It acts like it wants to start though. It has compression, and i cleaned out the carb. My nephew said he smoked all his buddies, bald tires and all. The thing is built like a tank. It looks pretty good still after 17 years. Would it be worth to rebuild? top? bottom? both? or sell?
