They Hate Polaris.....

Since ya'll get bashed so much. I'll let you know that I ride with a couple of SP500's and one Honda 300, I ride a 00 Kodiak and stay out of the mud. The SP500 are fantastic in the mud and realy shine at the big mudrides here in LA. A lot has to do with the skill of the rider, but I have pictures of SP500's going thru mudholes on the Marengo ride that swallowed Grizzleys. The guy that rides the Vamped Honda 300 is pure nuts and does a good job of going places most sane riders would not try. I can only say good things from what I have seen of the Polaris' at the mudrides I have been on. I just like the Yamaha low range as I putt along with a long rope to pull the nuts out of the mud.

Andy...I had the "honor" of being saved by a new 500 auto-cat this weekend.Just up to the rack in black goo , 15 miles from anywhere..and along comes this big Cat...after pulling me out along comes the mighty 500 Sportsman...well ,after pulling him out I noticed I was muddier ...sinced I had helped by pushing...we all had a good time..I dont hate Polaris but it does seem that I'm always behind one!! Darn...

My friends bash my scrambler500 4x4,saying it's too heavy and cost too much.Aslong as I'm paying for it,why does the price concern you?As for the weight,I enjoy the airtime that I get. There's no greater satisfaction than watching Polaris-bashers get stuck in a 6 inch mud puddle while I switch on the 4wd and smile politely as I cruise on by!!!!

HEY, Scramblerrp
I had a simialar experience happen to me, I was riding with a couple of guys who had 4x4 hondas and yamahahas, they bad mouthed my POLARIS because it was a 2x4. They said I could'nt even take it through a puddle without getting stuck.
We came to a deep mud hole so I aired down, they laughed and eased thier way through in 4 low
so I come through with the throttle pinned (it's the only way I'd make it through) passed them, and stopped to see how much mud they had to wip off thier faces.
LONG LIVE POLARIS!!!!!!!!!!!

Get this! I've had people tell me my quad was crap and junk WHILE I WAS PULLING THEM OUT OF A HOLE!!! If that isn't pathetic than I don't know what is. For instance, my cousin rides a Bayou 220; according to him it goes better in the mud, climbs hills better, rides better, and is overall much better than my 335. BS.I pull him out of the mud or out of a hole nearly every time we ride..... Insane quad bashing people make me vomit.

I don't hate them, but I wouldn't buy one personally (I KNOW, a lot of guys love 'em). But when everyone has to stop while you dry the darn belt off......that's not fun. And the reliability just isn't there from what I've seen sitting in the sevice shop at the dealer. And just for a personal dislike, MAN those things are heavy! Other than that, they will run. The Scrambler really has a lot of power.
