Default pred steering stem

I was wondering does anyone know if the new taller factory 05 pred steering stems will work on an 03 or an 04 pred?
And will they have the same mounting set-up? thanks

someone out there must know?
Also for an aftermarket version what would be the best bang for the buck for the predators?

might as well get an aftermarket one cause they raised the MSRP on an OEM one to 149 or something...

Bent my stock stearing stem with the ol collar bone, Rath racing builds a nice stearing stem/clamp antvibe setup for about $300. I love mine. It's taller and then I wen with a laraco bend handlebar from Azonic. I am tall and it has a great feel to it..

HPD is probably the way to go.....you can get that little bar clamp to hold everything too........

PS........if you don't want to spend the 300 bucks, I think there is one on ebay right now.........I don't know what year though.......

I mean they have a setup(maybe rath does too) that will eliminate your little black piece(holds key, lights, choke) and it holds this stuff in the same place, but with a nice clamp, also made for bigger(aftermarket) bars. Check out there site, you'll understand.

But hey, not to take away from your ideas, but on predatorowners.com there is someone selling a rath stem, with or without the clamp and bars.......sounds like a real good deal to me, if you are in the market for that stuff. If anything else, he has a good deal on the stem, if you want a new clamp and bars(good ones) then get them too!!!!

I got the chrome over chromoly stem with a billet clamp which holds the key, choke, and warning lights. I had my choice of the smaller or bigger diameter clamp for handlebars. You can also go with an aftermarket clamp for about $70 bucks which is taller than stock, Trail tech makes a really nice one.
