700 Vibration
Thanks for the info
I don't believe it is the belt. I have burnt belts beforeon my 500 and when the white stuff come on snowmobiles. usally you feel those at any RPM. but I will look.
the twin is a smooth running machine when I first bought it.
The water pump began to leak so the dealer fixed the problem inner seal leaking ever since then i have noticed a Vibration.

I agree the 700 is a smooth running machine. I think the vibration is caused when you lightly hit the throttle and maybe creep forward. I have had people press the throttle very slightly and stop and ask if it was supposed to vibrate like that. I never really noticed it a whole lot during normal riding.

Robdog,
I would definetly check your belt, I burnt mine on my 700efi and it started out as a vibration as well that seemed to carry through the whole machine, also if you let the belt come apart chances are it will break the cover, one thread of the belt was starting to make its way through mine right where the cooling intake is on the cover.
