I replied to a post a couple weeks ago to a guy asking about Trail Bosses. I told him about my buddy having one that blew a motor when it was three hours old. The return hose on the oil line from the cooler had come off, causing the motor to lock up. Well, Polaris is replacing the motor, the dealer told me it was the third one in two weeks to blow, due to the same problem. Polaris is fixing all three. He also got the impression when he talked to Polaris that they knew of the problem. Anyone that has a 'Boss might want to check that line once in a while.

So that's where the guys went who used to work at Firestone!

P.S. While I'd hope it's obvious I'm joking, I'll state the caveat: no offense intended; I even took a Polaris owner to lunch last week--or was it the week before?

After your previous post, I went home and checked all the lines on the tboss to see if any were loose. I did not find any, but will keep an eye on them. Thanks for the follow up.

Mine was loose also when it was very new. There is a cover that goes over the oil line to protect it from rubbing on the frame. They had put the clamp over the cover instead of the oil line. It turned to goo from the oil and the clamp was loose. Luckily I noticed it right away.
