60ft time means everything in a drag race, regardless of whether your in a heads up or bracket race. I must say I have never seen any kind of 400ex that will hang with a good alky 400.

out on an airstrip,,,,I was racing a 400ex with our 500 scrammy
the kid was about 100lbs wet and he was loosing me fast once he hit 5th

and as that was happening,,,,a 400 scrammy pretty well tricked out,,,,,flew past us.

stock for stock,,,it is a close race

there is no contest to talk about around a zilla and a full race mod scrammy,,,
i didn't say the zilla win or loose, but the power hit are very similar
on a race mod engine 400 in very good conditions,,only the big grunt of a 499cc
cannot be beat by smaller motor, the top end and smoothness of the 400
is very responsive at the very same rpm.
