i know this is the wrong forum but i find it easier to deal with polaris ppl instead of yami ppl. my friend has a yamaha warrior that the previous owner lost the key to and took a toggle switch and put it on the power wire, my question is would it be posible to go to like autozone and buy a ignition switch and switch it with the toggle switch and just have it turn on the power to the starter? so u would just flip the switch and hit the button. it dosnt really have to go through the hole wiring harness does it?

 

We used to have a bike that was wired like that........all you did was flip a toggle(turned on power) and pushed a button(turned the bike over)........so yeah it can be done.......
