Default 1999 Polaris Explorer 4x4

Is this a sport utility? Should move well and be a good trail rider,....yes??????????2cycle
Any andecotal reporting would be appreciated.

I have owned a "90" 350 Polaris Trail boss (on demand4x4) and liked the top end speed with the 4x4 capability. That is all I need.

thanks,

Bison Butt

PS I have tried several Sportsmans and do not like the heavy low end feeling and the excessive ( unneeded) heavy top end feeling.(Straining) 4cycle

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

The 400 Explorer is an updated version of your old TRailBoss.Great machine no IRS but lots of maintanance. With the counterbalance and drive chain most will out perform a 500 Sportsman.
