Default Trail Boss Snow Plow

I have a '96 250 Trail Boss (2 wheel drive) with a polaris plow. Does the Trail Boss plow pretty well? I have Mudshark tires on the rear, so I guess this will help somewhat.

i never thought about plowing with a 2 wheel drive before. but i guess if you don't let the snow get too deep and maybe use a few heavy blocks on your rear rack for traction, things would go ok.

guess you'll have to try it and let us know!

just don't push it too hard into the snowbank or else you might bury it! LOL!

Before I bought my scrambler I used a old Yamaha timberwolf 250 2 wheel drive with a Cycle Country 48" plow & it did pretty good with about a 100 lbs extra weight on the back.

Well its supposed to snow tonight into tomorrow. Hopefully we get a good amount, I can't to try the plow out. Would a couple of salt bags(50-80lbs ea.) be ok to throw on the back for traction?

I used sand or bags of ice melt . Just strap them on behind you & it should do ok . Just don't let 8" or more build upbefore each plowing & you'll be fine . I try to plow mine when it gets to 4 or 5".

Does it matter if the cement has all hardened already?
