03 600 Sp problems!!!

Default 03 600 Sp problems!!!
My brother inlaw has an 03 sp600. It dies when you go into reverse almost everytime. Anyone have any ideas or have had this happen to them?

it completely dies when just flipping the lever into reverse? there is a rev-limiter in reverse that can be overridden with the override button, but doesn't sound like that is the problem....

Sounds like the throlle cable is hanging on the shifter ... check and make sure it's not to tight or it will inguage the polaris electronic shut off.
