Here's a couple of pictures of my 2004.5 500 HO with a windshield, it the Polaris High version. Its tough, You can be smackin branches with it at 25 mph and not crack it, my brother leaned it on its side and only popped a grommet out, easy fix with the screw driver in the tool kit. Other atv's spitting rocks at you, no problem. Keeps a lot of wind off you while riding, protects your hands, protects you from other atv's throwing rocks at you. Sometimes a little tough to see through, and takes a little getting use to driving with one on but its more help than hinderance

I'm running the MTV fairing (Motovan) because I like having the rear view mirrors. I do have a complaint with this one though. I had to re-glue all the black plastic edging that surrounds the fairing and the windshield. It all started coming off after the first ride. I e-mailed Motovan but they did not reply. Also, when they say do not trailer over 60 KPH believe them. My windshield now has a curve that it didn't come with. Now I take it off when I have to trailer it. I saw the Valec Sport unit installed on a Sportsman at the dealer after I bought mine. It looked and seemed to fit a lot better around the gauge pod. Can you get them with the rear view mirrors?
