Default COLD AND SNOW

We got 12 in of snow in the past 24 hrs and the temp dropped to 9 last nite.I was going to use my buddies new 04 Sportsman to knock the snow down in my drive rather than unload my Scrambler from my truck(handy weight for a truck). The blame thing wouldnt start the starter drive just spun.Stater motor froze up and no pull start(terrible idea for polaris)Had to unload my Scrammy to clear a path it was great now Codys Trailblazer was another story it wouldnt go very good at all in deep snow but we played on the Scrammy. After the temp went up and we had the work done the 04 Sportsman started. How does everyons 2x4s compare to the 4x4s in snow. Our 2 2x4s suck.

All we got here was about 1/2 inch of ice. All around us was getting pounded. We are getting ready to head out and do some riding here in alittle while. Probly will freeze my go nads off.

Hey ftwflh. We got 8 inches. Our Trailblazers go fine one level ground, but I doubt it would go up a hill in this snow. I didn't get a chance to check it with the chains.

It was the drifts that stopped the TB .Some of them were 3-4 ft deep.Hung a Sportsman up in those.

Same crock of sheeit here too!!!! been colder than a well diggers A$$, made for safe lake ice to play on, but now the GD weatherman says 40's & rain by this time next week.Bye,bye ice if that happens. I've got 1 lone snow flurry on my back deck. Thinking of rushing it into the freezer so I can look at it every now & then so I can remember just what snow looks like in case I start to forget.

Been plowing so I haven't had a lot of time to play but I know on both of mine I played in 2x4 occasionally today when trying to spin around etc and it only took about 3 seconds to realize you weren't in 4x4 and you were stuck. It was no small feat to plow the 16-24" that we got here even with the 200lbs of weight strapped on. The neighbor had to plow for an hour to get his vforce out to where it could reach the road Today I'm glad to not be stuck in two wheel drive that is for sure.
