Default Oil to Gas ratio on worked 400 - 103 octane

I was wondering about the oil to gas ratio. I just purchased a 400 sport. The seller told me I need to run 103; however, I forgot to ask about the oil to gas ratio. I just mixed my first tank and used 40:1 synthetic AMS Oil, I would hate to stick it. We ride in the sand at about 4,000 feet, Sand Mountain, Nevada. Also, if anyone else has this set-up will I need a fan on the radiator. Thanks
