Can I charge my batt. while batt. is installed?

Default Can I charge my batt. while batt. is installed?
03 Trail Boss. Can I put it on the 2 amp. 12V charger while it's still connected (installed) in the quad? I'm not sure if I'll have to remove it and charge it on the bench?
