Any of you have a manual that tells the head and cylinder bolt torque specs for a 1991 350L Polaris..
just had it bored and installed a 20 over piston. Got it back together just not sure what the head bolts should be torqued to and do not want to
mess it up after all the money spent to put it back together correctly...

According to my Clymer's manual 6-8 ft./lbs. I'm looking at a 1991 350L, 2-stroke and there are six of these bolts (the book says the size of them is 6mm) just to be sure we are talking about the same thing. Dosen't seem like much does it? But that's what I am seeing. Good luck.

If you put them at 35lbs leave them alone.

If you go back to 6 to 8 lbs it is a serious mistake. That book is WRONG.

I thought that it was wrong too. That's why I added the thing about the six (6mm) bolts. It even showed a torque pattern. Most cars that I have worked on have been 80-100ft./lbs. So I would have guessed something around 40. I've never had a 2-stroke that far apart but I do have an old clymers manual.........My bad. I just looked again and I was looking at the wrong thing. Cylinder head 17-18 and cylinder base 25-29 ft./lbs. It's on page 145 (table 2) if anyone wants to back me up on this. Sorry about the bum info earlier.

17-18 on the head and 25-27 on the base is correct. They are the same specs as the 400.
