Rick it looks like it will be sooner than later.....The last 2 times I rode my quad. The cooling fan hasn't kicked on. Luckly it has been 30-45 degrees so I don't think it will overheat. I think I will pull it appart with in the next few weeks. Just to get it done and dialed in. I rode with some banchies (sp) today, and boy those little things are sick. I also rode with some 500HO scramblers. I think I am just a fast as them now. I hope to get some power down low. Those banchies were rediculous. They were low to the ground and going up hills that looked strait up with out any problems. They wanted me to try and I told them they were crazy. If I had a lower ground clearance I may have done it.
IS their something for me to look for with my fan, as far as figuring out what is wrong. I know the front berings were done in it. But I didn't have any problems. I guess I can put power to one side of the motor and ground the other and it should work. If not it looks like some more Ebay shopping on some scrap parts. Those fans are way to expensive for me to be buying new. Maybe I'll just pull the motor off and rebuild it. I have a elec. motor shop somewhat near me.
