On a 97 Xplorer 400 gas leaks from a clear plastic tube connected to the top of the carb. Leak stops when gas turned off, but is intermittant when gas valve on. With engine off, sometimes it leaks and sometimes not. Any suggestions on what to fix?

 

its the fuel supply line to the carb...its either rotted, cracked, etc. replace it.....turn the gas supply off, take the hose off, go to any automotice supply place with the tube and get some replacement fuel line and put it on there at the same length...
