The Glacier setup is the best and easiest....there are many other plow setups that will work for your needs. When I say best, I only mean because of the simplicity to the system. You can see a video of it on the pure polaris website.
I have the whole setup on my '05 700 EFI, you can see the pics here:

I have the glacier plow setup with the 60 inch blade and the 2.5ci warn winch. the system works great but the only problem I am having is when I pull up to something and try dragging the snow back, it doesn't get very close to the pavement. I usually have to go over it quit a few times and then it still isn't perfect. but overall the setup works great and god a kid could take the thing off and on due to it being so simple.
the other plow I was looking at and probably should have gotten is the complete warn system. you get the 2.5ci winch, 60 blade, plow and all the mounts and electrical. the system kinda mounts like the glacier and I was told it to only takes about 15-20 seconds to take off/on. you can get the complete setup from www.rcsoffroad.com they have great prices and if you email there customer service department and ask for a better price they will give you a $10 discount code. the whole thing was like $679 with free shipping. my glacier plow I bought was $725 installed but I got a huge discount from my dealer.

yes the $725 included the glacier plow system, the 60 inch blade, warn 2.5ci winch, and all mounts/harnesses installed and including tax. where do you usually ride? I see your from milford, michigan. I work in Milford at the General Motors proving grounds. I live in Flushing though, and ride mostly around the house and go to the Mt. Morris Mounds.

I have the glacier with a 60in plow and love it. I have the same issue with the backblading but not a big deal. As with any plow it does kill the winch cable. I only payed about 500 installed last march with a free winch from polaris when I paid for the bike upfront.

I bought my plow about a month ago, and I have been waiting for some snow, I've actually been praying for it... LOL
I already had a winch on mine, so no addtional cost ther, but I got the 60" Warn Plow, Plow tube (frame), and the Plow mount for the Polaris 700 delivered to my doorstep for around $345. I got it from Pat's Small Engine Supply in MN, they carry alot of ATV stuff/parts and they gives discounts on orders over $300 and $4.95 flat rate shipping, They were great to deal with and my order came in like 3 days. It takes about 30-45 minutes to put together, and connects to the ATV in seconds (2 pins). The Warn mount only reduces ground clearance by about 1/4'" . The middle part of the mount kind acts like a skid plate, there is 1/4" that protrudes down on each side, so you can hook up the plow tube with the 2 pins. I do wish I would have ordered the snow control flap (going to order it up this week). I also suggest using the Pulley that comes with the plow tube, rather than the J-hook that comes with the plow mount.
Hope this helps,

I recently purchased a Warn plow setup from www.rcsoffroad.com. I already had a winch so I only bought the 48"blade, push tube and mount which came to about $330 with free shipping and I got it within a week. I agree with ZMan079 as far as installation goes. It was easy to install and if you didn't know the mount was there, it's not very noticeable.
