How fast is a Predator?
Thanks BillDS650. I was thinking about a fast ATV for trail riding (racing) when I asked this question, so it looks like a Predator may be a good choice.
2fun,
I was talking about the DS being faster in a 300' sand drag race, not top end speed. With its 22" tires my DS tops out at 83 mph (on pavement), so it runs away from the YFZ bad on top end. But for 300' sand drags it will consistently win by half a quad length if the right technique is used. You can't ***** foot around if you want to beat a YFZ, so I will typically pin the throttle wide open on the starting line, and after the engine bounces off the rev limiter I dump the clutch in second gear.
