I wish I could be there with my new HO, I think I could probably put that Griz in its place. Greg how do ya like those mudbugs, did ya weigh them with the rims? I don't mind these mudrunners but I think I might step it up a bit, get back to me.

I haven't really had a chance to put them to the test. I did ride for a few hours at Lake Lavon and they seem to steer alot easier than the 12" wide vamps. They ride pretty well on the trail also. I will let you know more about how good they are in the mud after this week end.

I rode with a new Foreman yesterday and was not too impressed with the bone shaker ride, nor the stability. He, however was totally impressed with my SP's ride. We didn't do any drag racing, which was not the reason I bought a Polaris in the first place. Again, buy what you like and fits your needs in a quad.

Yesterday I gave mine a top speed, low range test. I can hold at 40mph, a few miles faster at full throttle, with stock tires. Since I really don't use low range all that often I was curious, after Greg said he pegged his at 25mph. That seemed awfully slow, especially with over sized tires.

If the bikes are both stock that means that the sp 500 has more power to pull bigger tires. Have you pulled? 35-40mph in low? YOu might want to get your gearing checked. Mine will run 27 mph in low. Low should be slow, not fast. That is why you have high. MIne goes 27 mph in low and 59 mph in high. ? for gregsims. How did you adjust the throttle cable? I tried but i could find nothing that fit to turn it. YOu are talking about the cable from the ETC to the pod right? Please, i need more information.

My bike pegs at about 60mph in high range, according to my speedo. A radar gun might have a different story. I can hold 40mph in low range, alittle faster if I full throttle it. But then its reving too high. I haven't done any pulling with my bike other then once with an SP500, back to back. I won! I don't like to mention that too often, because it seems to really **** off alot of people. Thats not my intention. It doesn't need lower gears, it has PLENTY of power in low range. For that matter it has a ton of power over all. Thats why I really don't use low all that often. I have more than enough power to use high almost all the time. I really only use low for when I want to go slower, not because I need more power. I think this bike will do well with over sized tires, once the stock tires wear out. I haven't talked with the wife about that one yet. I might have to be alittle sneeky about that.
