I CAN NOT BELIEVE THAT YOR RUBICON IS FASTER THAN A SP500 IN ANY TYPE OF RACE WE COULD THINK OF.
I HAVE A 98 SP500 AND IT BEATS THE PANTS OFF ANY RUBICON THAT I HAVE MET UP WITH !!! I ALSO HAVE A SP500HO (48MI NEW ) THAT IS VERY MUCH FASTER THAN MY SP500 ....MY SP500 (98) CONSISTANTLY GOES 57 TO 60 MPH, I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO THE TIME MY SP500HO IS "BROKEN-IN"

THE "RODEO THAT THEY PUT ON EVERY YEAR SHOWS PROOVES WHICH WHEELER IS BEST, LOOK AT THE RESULTS POLARIS WINS ALMOST EVERY CATAGORY....CHECK OUT THE NEW YORK STATE FAIR ON THIS WEB PAGE, YOU WILL SEE THAT POLARIS WON 9 OUT OF 11 EVENTS INCLUDING THE 600CC CLASS

I guess if a guy does a hit or two of acid and goes out riding, you could hallucinate that someone was keeping up with or beating you. when they actually weren't. That must have been the problem every time I SMOKED the SP500 in a drag race! Think I'll do another hit and go out and continue the illusion.
I believe what Greg is saying about the Rubicon. I've found him to be honest and insightful about quad riding.

So why would the owner of both machines be here saying that we were equal? If one of us won hands down everytime dont you think we would be claiming that? I would be rubbing it in his face for eternity.

 

The term smoked? Ok for me when it comes to racing when you smoke someone you beat them so bad that they might as well as not of even raced. such as racing a Banshee against a 325 Magnum, in a straight line on a Tar road, well to me that is being smoked. Mearly beating a machine buy a couple lengths is nothing, that makes them very very close. Such as when I raced a Grizz, yeah it beat me but not by enough to make it really matter, now I got smoked by an Xpress 400. i was right to the bar 58 or so MPH and he left me like i was not even moving.
I doubt an SP would smoke a Rubi and vice versa. They are both great machines and seem very competitive.
