Rubicon VS 2000SP500 Race Results

PolarisMan,
Both bikes were stock. We both had the same tires and from what I could tell, we pulled them the same. I could not tell that the SP500 had any more power than I do. What I can tell you is that I have heard way too many people say not to run large and wide tires on the front of the SP500....the Rubi does not seem to have a problem with them. My gearing is fine. Low has all the torque I want. Whether or not it can do 40 in low means nothing to me. There is nothing to get so defensive about. Greg and myself had a blast riding together and he jsut wanted to tell yall what happened.

What IS wrong with you guys ?
This started as a fun and informative thread. Now somebody gets offended because his quad is a little slower than another, and starts throwing insults.
Are these boards made of nothing but 14 year olds ? Geez. Grow up.

My apologies for mentioning the little tog-o-war I won with a guy on a SP500. It appeared as though someone was asking me a direct question, so I gave an honest and direct answer. Some people really get their undies in a wad over it. Clearly some people are not humble enough to admit that their machine could get beat! Your right about the 3 wheel drive thing. It gets on my nerves alot. Unfortunatly I can't lock it up. They quit making a locker for it.
Fortunatly for me, both my front tires were spinning the same as his. I guess luck was with me.
Now, with your leave. I will strut back to the Yamaha forum with head held high. Jeez man, get a grip.

Hey Griz01 did that Sp500 have stock tires on it, well if it did that might be the reason you pulled him back to back...come down here in WV and hook up to the back of my SP500 with 26x12x12 all around and lets see what happens with that 3 wheel Griz hehehe

Yes he had stock tires, or at least I think they were stock. They were the same as mine. But his were quite abit more worn then mine, I'll have to admit. I'd love to come on over and giv'er a try. I'm not afraid to loose. I'm afraid to win now. Sh*t if it happened again everyone would hate me!

no its just that more times i have seen a sp drag a grizz all over the yard, what is so differant about yours?? or you were just a better rider than he was. in my case we could even switch machines and the result would be the same.now the grizz is allittle faster than a 2000 but like i said im right on his heels and when the going gets rough i pass him!! im getting a HO and the grizz WONT be faster now so you grizz owner take the back seat!!!
