I'm just curious,

for all the thick-plastic sheathed ATV's, will turtlewax do any good in filling minor scratches? Will turtlewax work for anything on any quad?

Give me your opinions and facts.

As long as it is not a porous plastic then it will be fine. If it is rough or porous you will not be able to get it wiped off (atleast not very easy.)

 

It will not repair plastic, just coat and polish it.

 

it won't fill the scratches, there are plastic fillers, but they don't work for crap....

Polaris in their owners manual says you can wax their machines, I always have, helps roll over water better...along with mud that is in the water....

 

My buddy keeps his rancher waxed good. Makes it pretty and shiney[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] Too bad it doesnt keep him from getting stuck.

 

FYI ... don't get the wax on the sportsman black parts, they will look dull and hard to get the wax off.
