Im hooking up an aux light on the rear of my sp500 and was thinking off comming of the ign sw with a fused wire to supply power to the light as my on/off sw is going to be in the pod or should i pick up power from some where else

depends what year machine you have....polaris on the 2005 machines has two ignition hot wire spares under the front access over....they are I think black/orange....if you have them, then you just need to add a spade connector to your wire and plug it in...

Theres a orange/black wire under the hood ... or just take power from the 12v socket in the POD.
