I had a 48 inch plow on my 99 Sportsman and now,my 00 Xplorer.It was made by Cycle Country.It cost,with installion around 450 dollars.

Some folks opt not to go with the 60 inch blade because of its extra weight on the front springs.

The 350 dollars at Cabella's sounds OK.Did this include the mounting plate to?You said you will be using your winch to lift it.Do you allready have the winch? If not,it's added $$ for it to.I like the CC plow alot.Shop around, ask questions.====Bill

That price is not too bad if it includes the lift kit. If you are using your winch to lift the plow, you do not need the lift kit. I use a 50 inch CMP plow. Based on the plow that the Cabelas store in Dundee had, the Cabelas plow is just a CMP plow. Call Shadetree Outdoors at 1-888-Shadetree. They carry the CMP plows and have great prices and are great to deal with. I think for the mount and plow, I paid around $300 as I use my winch for lifting. I am at work and do not have my shadetree catolog or I would look up the prices for you. Hope this helps.

dressel1,

I just ordered a cycle country 48" blade, with mounting kit, and manual lift from (atvgear.com), for my Xpedition. The entire package including shipping was $192. Cycle country has redesigned there plows, and these are from their old stock. I believe the same package with a 60" blade is around $220.
I have heard mixed reviews about these, but I believe it will work fine for my application.
