Default Newbie Needs Help, Scrambler 400

the frame on ebay is for a 96, it wont work on the 2001. the 2001 is concentrice they are made different at the mounting points. but look around they usually have some others on there. too bad, the one on there isn't right because the price is.

I still think you could use the 96 frame you just wouldn't have the concentric drive anymore.

If he wants to use his trans and swingarm a 96 frame won't work!

sod, if you straighten it just remember that also can weaken it. bending metal back and forth can put stress cracks in it, especially as much bending you'll have to do. for the price it would be safer in the long run to just replace it, imho. just imagine jumping it or if someone else does and it breaks on the land. could be pretty disasterous. just a thought.

Polaris Freak, what years are compatible for a direct swap on the frame ? Also you got any good riding places in Prague ? Nothing around here in OKC...
