Has anyone made any inner fenders for the 05 sportsmans? I put 20 miles on my 800 last saturday, and it road great... But i accumulate a 100 pound snow ball in the front end every time i ride in the snow. I think it is going to be really bad when i get into water and snow. There are no inner fenders to block the elements. I was wondering if anyone has made any shields to put in there. What works, what doesn't work, and how to do it! Love the 800 though. I only have 32 miles on it, so its a fetch from broken in, but oh well, it'll get there. Right now its only as fast as a broke in 700, but it should get better!

Nice work, looks like you've got that H.O. pretty bulletproof. I think ill replace my broken floor board and build those nerf bars. Looks like a good idea. Ill be on the look out for some good pliable plastic to build some shields for the inner fenders.

someone told me here, that they were going to try rubber floor mats.

I wasn't sure if they would hold up to the heat of the header ... may be he will post if they worked.
