scrambler ground clearance

Default scrambler ground clearance

does the ground clearance on yall scrambler 500 4x4 affect you mudding and if it does what do yall do to fix that prob.

Default scrambler ground clearance

you can put 12 inch rims and tires set on. that will give you more clearance. just make sure you get the tire sizes right. i havent had any probs with the regular clearance, unless yer gittin into the deep ruts from big ute trails. (just stay high side)

Default scrambler ground clearance

I have a '00 scarmbler 500 4x4, and I have not had any trouble with it mudding. It even sits lower since I put ITP wheels and Maxxis Razzar Tires on it. I even race harescramble races with it and i have not had a problem with it yet.

Default scrambler ground clearance

I would assume that my xplorer has a similar ground clearance, it is also a chain drive. I find that in the real deep soupy mud (>2 feet deep) it does fine, amazingly well actually. It is only in the more solid stuff that the back axle begins getting caught up. I have gotten beached many times falling in to the ruts and having all four tires in the air. But it is light enough to just lift out. I have seen some people weld like spokes sticking off of the axle to keep moving when they get bottomed out.
