You wouldn't belive what Polaris sent me!!
I bought my 800 in early Dec. and got $400 in accesories with the deal. Got another set of rims and a front bumper and handguards. ( I went a little over) So in January they changed the $400 in acces. to a Garmin GPS. Well I just recieved a brand new Garmin GPSMAP76 today from Polaris. It looks like my dealer didn't put my 800 into Polaris as sold until the end of January. So Polaris thinks I just bought it, thus gave me the GPS. Now I just have to figure how to use it.
On a side note, does this meen my warrenty didn't start until Polaris got there paper work. That would be great.

Yes that means your warranty just started!
I know this because a friend of mine bought a 02 700twin and the headlight blew because it got water in it some how. Well when it blew he had it for a little over 8 months, well the dealer said they never sent his warranty stuff in, so he got a around a year and 2 months of warranty more less. BTW if you notice, Polaris wont send you the Escape Mag or thank you cards until your warranty is active. Polaris doesn't even know you own the quad until the warranty information is processed. To me it sounds like it costs them a lot of money to have a system that works this way, because its not uncommon...

YOU LUCKY SON OF A .....
monkey's uncle..
Congrats!!
To start, look up on ebay for a mount or a neoprene case with velcro handlebar strap. That sure makes it easier to use. Then, go somewhere you never been before and just ride and ride and ride, never look back. Then find your way back with the GPS cuz you should never get lost with one! I really need to find the potential of mine. So far I've been comparing my speedo with it, comparing roads to trail map, etc.
