Okay, I know this topic has been on here many times before, but I still as of yet cannot find an easy and effective way to remove stickers. I don't have a steam cleaner, or found any chemicals or sprays to remove them super thin safety labels that are plastered all over my Polaris. Try peeling them, what a hassle, they are so thin yoy can't pull them off 'cause they break as soon as they begin to peel off. Alright you adhesion experts, what have you done that really, and honestly works. And is WD-40 the best for cleaning up the remaining residue? Thanks fellow Polaris fans!

if your not in a rush, try soaking a cloth in brake fluid and leaving it on the sticker,i think a day or so would be good..every once in a while add a little more fluid and work it into the sticker..it will loosen the sticker as well as take if not all most of the glue with it..wd-40 will help remove the residue

Thanks bowtiepu, will give them goofy stickers a try with the brake fluid today. Have not tried the brake fluid method yet, did not know it had them capabilities.

I just peeled all the stickers off my new Sp 500 HO RSE a week ago. A hair drier works great!! Just heat the stickers up a little (not two hot, just so their warm)and take your time and peel slow! They come off pretty quick. A little road and tar remover from GM worked great for the residue too.

I used my Wife's hair dryer. Just heat up the sticker until it is fairly warm and start peeling. To hot and you will get little pieces. Then to get the glue residue off I used a product call "OOPS", its made to remove glue, gum, tar, nearly any sticky stuff. You can buy it anywhere like Walmart in the paint dept. Hope that helps.

Just remember that brake fluid will remove paint as well. Not a big worry, but if you lay the rag on your pickup tailgate while you peel the sticker...well I think you can figure it out.

Some people have also used a power washer to remove their decals.

briankimmel is right...if you have access to a pressure washer(2500 PSI works great) those stickers will be history! The glue comes off right with the stickers. Just point the nozzle a few inches from the corner of a sticker and let 'er fly!

Dash a little brake fluid on the sticker, rub it in a little, wait a few hours (may not take that long)and it will bubble up and all you have to do is rub a rag over it and walla! No more sticker.I did this to my Sportsman 335 and took half of the Sportsman decal right off by accident.I was filling the master cylinder and spilled some. It ticked me off but I thought: I must post this on the forums!!
