Have you all seen the new Polaris accessories? There are two that stand out in my mind. One is the blaze orange fender covers and bags. They are basically the same thing as your run of the mill camo covers and bags, except blazer orange. Boy they sure look great if you ask me.

The other, that I like even more, is the Diamond Plate aluminum cargo boxes. Made for the front and rear racks, they look awesome. Someone was asking about these boxes a few months ago.

I saw them in the new Polaris mag I started getting after I bought my Xplorer. I really like that diamond plate box!! I checked the web site yesterday but they weren't on there yet.

Lurch

I noticed that Cabelas had a diamond plate rack box at there store on display. Their's was painted black, though. Might be cheaper than the Polaris box is.

I was at my local dealer yesterday and asked about DG bumpers. They said by the end of the month they expect a new accessories catalog that will include bumpers and performance parts by Polaris. I'm not sure what all that will include, but at the time I was talking to them about my Scrambler. I can't wait to see what they offer.

My local Polaris dealer has had DG stuff for two years now. They also have the ITP aluminum rims with the Polaris insignia on them.

I've seen the new 2001 catalog. It is about twenty pages full of accesories. Most of the accesories you can buy now from other catalog houses. Example: polyurethane skid plates, removable winch to front or back of machine with different accesories, bags, racks, CV guards, mowers, helments, gloves, ATV lift, Chrome wheels, and safety tie downs. It has been very interesting seeing the Polaris aftermarket businesses take off in the last several years. Looks like Polaris woke up and decided to get in on the $$$.

If your dealer doesn't have one yet they will get them after the show in September.

Always shop around before you buy!

Lurch, do you have any specs on the diamond plate boxes? I am looking for the dimensions for that front box. That is a cool looking box.
