You're right, its turbocharged. That would be a tough one putting a supercharger on them.

 

If they could just put a speedo in that doesn't fog up, that would be great.

the only reason polaris made a 2004 model year change was cause of the 2004 700EFI having an electric fuel guage with low fuel sensor and the carbed models did not so half way through the model year they put the electronic fuel guage with low fuel sensor on the rest of the sportsman models. this is why some people type 2004.5 even though some of them probably don't even have the 04.5 model, I type 2004 cause my EFI's came with the electronic fuel guage with low fuel sensor from the get go.

I would wait for the 06' models to come out cause word is that the new 500 will have EFI.

 

My dealer's rep told him that the 500efi is a sure thing, be introduced in july.

 

I saw a 2006 500 efi in Lake Havasu last month.
Also, my dealer said it was coming out later this yr. nov-dec
Not that dealers know anything. But my eyes don't deceive me when i saw the 500 EFI.
