Default Which dealer(s) in S/E MI?

New to the forum and am thinking of a new Polaris quad. I bought a 400 Sportsman from Labarons a few years ago and had good sucess. Which dealers offer the best price/service these days? I saw a dealer on Cycle Trader in North Carolina offering a '05 700 efi Dale Earnhardt edition for mid 7's, which seemed like a great price. Hate to go out of state, but... Second question; for trail riding in the U/P and ice fishing, I'm thinking a 500 H/O. My buddies all ride Vinsons. The Vinson is a pretty sweet quad I might add. Is a 600, 700 or even a 800 worth the extra $$? Its not much more based on suggested retail off the website. Do the twins offer significant more power for cruising, or is the 500 H/O adequate for most applications? Lots of questions, but this IS the place for answers. Thanks in advance.

Weiss Equiptment and Sales in Frankenmuth, MI has got the lowes prices I could find when I was shopping for mine this past summer, I like them so much I bought two and also brought my wifes cousing in there and he bought one as well. they have the lowes prices around and offer great parts and service. You can call and talk to Dave in sales at 1(989)652-6151, tell him David Krueger referred you and he will try to help you out. I can't say enuff great things about Dave and Weiss Equiptment, they treated me great from start to finish and everytime I walk in the door to this day. I called just about everyone from lansing to the UP and Weiss had the lowest price. By the way don't trust those ads in the trader magazines cause most of them aren't true and are just to get you into the door, trust me cause I drove to Full Throttle Motorsports in Lansing, Michigan and they lied to me over the phone and tried screwing me harder than a flat head screw being tightened by a phillips screwdriver. I made a post with some of the details on page two under the Chatanooga topic here on the polaris forums. I vowed never to step foot into that dealer every again as long as I live.

If you want the lowest price within 90 minutes of you call "Honda East" in Maumee Ohio. They can't be beat. You pay the taxes when you get home. Greenia's in Almont, MI is good, but not the lowest price.

Also, visit www.atvoffroad.net and make a post there.

I agree with the above responses.
Greenias is a good family dealer, good service but can't match or beat pricing (low volume).
I've had good experience wit h LaBarons too.

DO NOT buy from Full Throttle Motorsports in Lansing.

I had a different experience with Weiss equipment. I left atleast 3 messages for "Dave" to ask about a 05 TLD Predator.

It was 2 weeks before Christmas, never got a call back. Not saying they are a bad dealership, just sharing my experience.

I bought mine from Tom's cycle...cant recommend them either..I told the salesman (I lied) that another dealrship had the quad a 6290 OTD..he kept telling me he didnt know how they could do that. Called me 4 days in a row and kept asking me where I was at..I told him I would buy from the "Other" dealership.

On the 3 day Mike from Toms Cycle called me and said he can do 6290 OTD but i had to pick it up that night.

Got down there and the first invoice they tried me to sign was 6395 OTD I told them no..I'm going back to HL with no quad..they made a phone call and got it right..but it shouldnt have went that far.

DO NOT buy from Spicers Boat City..wont deal at all.

another dealer I called that had a good price but didn't have any quads was in munising in the UP, they told me that they pretty much sell them at cost so they are usually already sold before they even get to the dealer.

Tom's Cycle in St Johns was convicted of burning down the local compeditor speed shop , i think it was Greenveiws or something.
I read it in SnowGoer Mag.

Jeff's got the right idea, tell them your going to Ohio or Tenn(Chattanooga) to buy if they cant match the price or at least come close. They list OTD pricing on the internet. Pay your sales tax when you come back to MI.
