I was talking to my Polaris dealer buddy and he told me a new 700cc Scrambler style model is coming out! Talk about awesome! Looks like the 500 of mine might hit the auction block!

 

That's what my dealer told me. He said it was taking the place of the 400 4X4.

Man, I don't know what to think. I do know they are releasing a new quad. But what is it? I really want a new larger quad. I talked my wife into it because I said we would get one that could do work like plowing. A new SP would be perfect.
But then again, if it is a big sport quad, I would really want that. But how will I ever talk my wife into that? Man, life is tough sometimes.

 

Be patient. If Polaris truly is coming out with the big-bore, it will find its way into the sportsman chassis sooner or later. Especially now that Kawasaki Has the biggest 'official' atv out there, everyone will have to get with it or get out of the way.

I heard that too....the name I heard was the "Sportsman Suburban" or "Big Bertha". Possibly limited edition "drop-top" also.

 

Like I've mentioned before, the 700 sp is coming. It was going to be in the 2001 brochure and then got yanked just prior to going to press. I know plenty of people who have seen information on this unit, one can only speculate as to why polaris didn't release it with the others. Perhaps they wanted to make a big splash like Honda and Kawi did with their new quads.

Now a 700 scrabler, no one that I've spoken with knew anything about this. My money is on the sp 700 or 725 whatever the exact cc is.

 

The 700SP is near being released. The all-new (cc's unknown)Sport model is further away.
