Default stroking an EFI

I don't have one, but I just got thinking. Assuming that they make an EFI 500HO next year... Would you be able to stroke the motor out to a 600 w/o modifying the EFI system, or would it figure it out? I know on a jeep, you can stroke the motor and it'll just figure out that it can handle more air.

If the quad hasan 02 and MAF sensor it should be able to compensate for increased displacement. If its an open loop system then the map will have to be changed and adjusted.
