Default Removing oil injector system

I don't like'em. I don't trust'em. I'd rather mix, know what my ratio is, and not worry about a pump going bad. What ratio should I use, 32:1 like my Blasters? Do I have to disconnect the pump? Am I asking too many questions. Ok I'll stop now.

You can buy a injection removel kit. I mix mine 32:1 since removing my injection.

To remove it you just pull the screws out of it, pull the pump off, put some sealent on i the supplied plate, and screw it on. You also need a throttle cable to replace the stock on, so that it doesnt have the seperate one for the oil.

If you talk to RAJ he may have some further input or ways to help...

Default Removing oil injector system

DanCranman, I am like you, I don't trust the oil injection system. I am new to the Polaris system. Because of that I'm not sure if the oil level is going down fast enough. I have a question. Can a person add mixed oil/gas to the tank, plus have the injection system in place and working?.When we were breaking in the new motor I was told to add mixed oil/gas, I think 50 to 1. What do people think?

The extra oil won't hurt the bearings at all, but it can cause the fuel mixture to burn lean, which can cause a hole melted thru the piston. Cold weather can make this even worse.
