its moderate, its kind of a gas hog, it will go through the first tank in it like nothing becaues its breaking in. once you break it in though, you can get about 75-80 miles on a tank

Wow thats more than i thought. Are you happy with red and black i was leaning towards the silver and black. I have the push bar on my 700 and was going to put it on the 800 , I thought it looked pretty nice on it. Your atv looks good i wish i could get the red and black and silver in black that would make it easier. I do like both colors.

I have the Black and Silver 700 EFI, 2005. I can go 75-80 miles in normal conditions, if just cruising I can go close to 100 miles.

What would be the difference between the 700 and 800 for gas mileage, I would think the 800 should be better, forces less and has better breathing with the 2 pipes NO?
Sort of like a V6-V8 truck, V8's are better as they force less.
Just wondering.
Thanks

according to the manual breakin period is over after 2 tanks of fuel, in reality, everything is set and absolutely broke in after about 12 hours of use.

i enjoy my quad alot, has more power then i could have asked for, though as i get used to the power, i sometimes wish it had better acceleration, im thinking about getting a dalton blue main spring however. i am very happy with my red and black, though i think im going to get a set of silver plastics. the red just dosnt look very good with those aluminum wheels, so im gonna grab a silver and see how that looks, if its fugly, then i'll just paint the silver one with some krylon like lime green or something.
