Are you going to pipe it?? If not, you can't atler it for any more power. Jetting depends alot on elevation. I'm barely above sea level ( couple hundred feet ) but for your question, my 500 scrambler with a slip-on pipe & K&N is 160 main, needle 2nd from bottom, & fuel/pilot screw @ about 3 turns out. Hope this helps.

Not piping it yet, thought about a twin-air and cutting a hole in the air box. K&N say that you dont have to jet the bike if you use one of there filters. Not sure what to do. My main gole is to get more throttle response out of the bike. What would be a good method for this?

If you want more throttle response I recommend just going with the HPD airbox/carb mod for $114 at www.hpd-inc.com. You'll get better throttle response as well as a 2 HP gain. While you're at it throw in a K&N w/ outerwear.
A clutch kit is also a good idea if you want a stronger "get up and go." Again HPD has that for you too.
You won't gain much if any power from just an airfilter or rejet.
