I cracked the black plastic or composite footwell on my 2000 SP and tried JB weld as I had read in an old post on this forum. Any ideas for a proper fix or repair, as the JB did not work. You plastics or repair experts could help me out here. Thanks

I did the same thing. It popped while I was log hopping. I am going to replace it. It will cost me $100+ CAN

The footwell seems to be a composite of some sort, would like to "weld" it but not sure if this can be done. Don't want to make a real noticeable patch so I am trying to get away from a fiberglass fix on the hidded side.

So I tried the JB weld in an attempt to fix, but didn't work. I think if I had a better type of adhesive and 3 more pairs of hands to hold 2 irregular peices of plastic in an odd position for a couple of hours of drying time, it might have worked. I'll think of something.
