Daranello75 just ride your new quad long and hard and the weight will come off quicker than you can say "thigh master". You will be down to 175 before your first oil change.

I've had three adults and one kid at the same time on my old 250x. I didn't go very fast but it handled the weight and pulled ok. Back shock was bottomed out but we didn't bend anything. I would say load was 500-600 lbs. I don't do it often but it sure looked cool. Me driving, my buddy behind me and his wife on his shoulders and their son on the tank with his legs on the front fenders. Slow going.

I've got a friend that tips the scales at 310 by his own admission his pred has no problem with him on it. Although he did do alot of mods for performance to haul his carcass around a little easier.

One of the main reasons they put that in there is because of the force you can impose when jumping and landing.....its alot of stress on the bike when alot of weight comes down hard on landings....jump softly....

My old man weighs around 280 and has no problems on a raptor which has a weight rating somewhere around 220-240. A guy I know was around 375-400 pounds before his bariatric surgery and he trail rode his 01 raptor then. Just remember to crank the preload up a little on the rear (and front if you've got it) and you should be fine. Most atv manufacturers set their suspension for a 175-190lb rider at the factory.
