Default to shock cover or not to shock cover???

to answer your question;

deep water - they stay cleaner with them on IMO than without any shock covers.
Where i ride it's clay/mud/sand mix ... it's seams to be a very abrasive mix.

We all have shock cover on our preds, when I take them off my shocks look new.
