I hate to say it, but I'd dump it if I were you, for whatever reason you won't be able to have confidence in it when you ride, even it it never fails again there will always be the thought that it will fail.

Try something else, get a new machine. Good luck....

sorry to hear about your experiences and problems. I think I would contact polaris customer service and work my way up until I could get someone to help me. I would call everyday if that's what it took.

I have been, and will continue to take my issue with Polaris. I would like to have my bike replaced.

The problem with the water pump is that it leaked radiator fluid at the bottom. It exits the bike through the weep hole and will completely drain my radiator of fluid. I have not actually seen the bad water pumps. To be honest I didnt think about requesting it. I assumed they had to send it back to Polaris to get reimbursed.

I do believe that part of my problem is with my dealer. Unfortunately we only have one dealer in our city.

sounds like your dealer is a con. And won't help you because they'll get caught by polaris if they kept reporting the same machine breaking down.

I never had any good luck with Polaris's customer service. I used to have a Srambler 400 and at 8 months the engine locked up. Its been a while and I can't remember the reason why, but Polaris wouldn't help out at all. They could have cared less. It wound up costing me $1300, and I never rode it hard or abused it.

I had a similar problem with a 2004 Arcitc Cat 650. It was in the shop more than it was at home. Here in California we have the lemon law. Because it was in the shop more than 30 days or in for three time for the same repair you can get your money back. What I did was fax a letter to AC with the repair reciepts. I advised them I would be pursuing the lemon law. They contacted the dealer and the dealer gave me my money back. I then purchased a 2004.5 500HO. No problems so far knock on wood.

A little background on Arctic Cat: The only way I was able to speak with an employee of Arctic Cat was I had to lie to them and tell them I received a check for $271 from them and I didn't know if I should cash it. They put me right through. Then when the rep came on the line I handed the phone to my wife who is an attorney, she faxed them a letter and repair reciepts. Good luck... Don't wait too long for the lemon law issue. If Louisiana has the same law as California it sounds like you may be able to get your money back.

After reading about some of your misfortunes at your dealers I feel lucky, the local dealer has always taken care of usmaybe that is becausethey are also a BIG ag business in this area also So, if the word gets around they are screwing with people they will loose lots and lots of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
