Spark Plugs...
#1
What's the correct NGK spark plug for a 400L engine?
I looked on the web and found that it should be a BR8ES, but mine has had a BR8HS in it... the terminal is about 5mm short of entering the combustion chamber. Is the ES longer?

I was fouling plugs on a regular basis until I put in the iridium ix plug. My wife rides my quad and she doesnt ride all that aggressive. Thus the fouling plugs. But after the iridium ix plug. No more fouling. Havent had to change it yet. Plug # your looking for is BR8EIX. That would be the iridium ix plug for your machine from NGK.

No, I never got round to trying one... the bike is running well on standard plugs. The iridium plugs are pretty hard to get in the UK, so I'll probably pick a couple up next time I'm in the States.
