What is stock setting for the jet needle in a 500 Scram is the clip in the 3rd notch ?

 

Yes it is. I lowered the clip one notch ( richening the mix ) for pipe & air filter & it made a difference in the midrange. Mine had a bad flat spot in the mid. but after raising the needle, it took care of the flat spot.

Thanx for the reply I just got the hpd airbox mod delivered today so I have to take out the dynojet kit and i could not remember if I changed the notch on the neddle

 

Alpine2, please let me know how this mod works. I've been thinking of getting one myself. What all is involved?? I know it requires more jetting tuning, but what else.
