Default Just bought an 04 Scrammy

I just bought an 04 Scrammy to replace my 96 Sportsman so I can have a more nimble and faster machine. I'm trying to look around to see what all is made for the scrambler for both accessories and performance mods. Where can I go to find a good sellection of that kind of stuff. I'm finding a lot of preditor stuff, but not much scrambler.

I already have a clutch kit for it and a K&N. Other things I'm thinking...

-Panorama computer
-Chain Tensioner
-Exhaust - who makes a good trail oriented exhaust w/ spark arrester?

As far as exhaust goes Hot Seat Performance makes a full system w/ a spark arrester as well as Pro Circuit. White Bros. makes a slip on w/ spark arrester too.

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

Price wise thw White Bros slip on is great and it has a spark arrestor. HPD has a good chain tensinor. It has a grease fitting onthe pivot arm wher the others dont.

The HPD chain tensioner is one of the best I have seen and highly recomend it. I beat mine up on rocks and stumps, and it still works great!

From others I have talked to, the HPD full exhaust gives around 4 HP top end and the White bros. gives 1, The bottom end is about the same. So if you like more HP in the uper range I would go with the full HPD setup. I have the white bros and like it alot, but plan on getting the HPD full system after this season.

As for stuff for the scrambler, everywhere you look you see pred stuff and sportsman, the scrambler is like the hardest one to find stuff for. There is stuff out there though.

Thats a good place to start, rockymountain has racks, front and back for a good price.

Hope you enjoy your new scramy
