Default clip?

I thought I seen them somewhere for the Mikuni, but I can only find for the Keihin CVK and S&S carbs.....these screws have to be precisely machined, you would think they would have them for all carbs that have a mixture screw......Of course the reason I found mine was because the CVK40 found on the KLR650 is used on Harleys....Harleys need all the help they can get...lol...

i'll keep searching

elkbow is the closest, as you drop the clip down this determines how soon the mixture richens in the midrange. down richens sooner, up leaner in midrange. has no effect on how much fuel flows through the main jet. thats what the jet is for, a metering device at 7/8 - wot, give or take a little. pilot jet idle to 1/8 throttle. needle jet and jet needle 1/8 - 7/8 throttle. the idle mixture screw is just that, adjusts the mixture at idle, little effect beyond that. i have a chart that will give you more info. let me know and i'll send it to ya. the guys at Fox Distributing have been really good to me for info on carbs.(not fox racing) let me know and i'll dig up there info for you. thats all they deal with - carbs, from singles to sleds to harleys. and their parts are reasonable
