A friend in my riding group has a 500 Scrambler and the front left fender does a great job of directing water into the snorkle. I'm not sure what Polaris was thinking when they designed the snorkle like that. However, we found that the snorkle off of a 500 Big Boss 6x6 fits. The 6x snorkle faces back and does not let water in near as easily. This is an easy fix to a bad design. Until it gets replaced, we cover the factory hole with duct tape and cut a new hole on the inside of the snorkle. Hope this helps somebody.
